This isn’t a random skirmish — it’s the predictable blowback when federal law enforcement answers to a border crisis and local politicians signal soft resistance.
Footage from the scene shows protesters and onlookers rushing toward the store vestibule, some trying to obstruct agents and confront them directly, and other bystanders shouting at federal officers as the situation unfolded. Conservative Americans who value law and order saw a mob mentality trying to intimidate men and women doing a dangerous job, and when some protesters went looking for a physical confrontation, federal officers held their ground. There is a difference between righteous dissent and disorderly mobs; the latter must not be allowed to dictate public safety.
