A Florida teacher has been fired for using the ridiculous gender-neutral term “Mx.” instead of “Ms.” or “Mr.” in their emails and other communications. Can you believe it? The world has gone mad! This brave teacher, AV Vary, was just trying to cater to their so-called “marginalized” students and create a safe space for them. But instead, they found themselves on the wrong side of Florida’s laws and regulations when it comes to personal titles and pronouns in public schools. Good on Florida Virtual School for standing up for sanity and following the rules!

Now, let’s get one thing straight, using gender-neutral pronouns is just another wave of liberal nonsense trying to erode traditional values and norms. Governor Ron DeSantis understands this, which is why he signed the Parental Rights in Education Act into law. Critics may call it the “Don’t Say Gay” law, but really, it’s just common sense. We should be focusing on teaching our children math, science, and real subjects, not indulging in the latest gender fads.
But this teacher, AV Vary, decided to play activist and disregard the law. They knew using “Mx.” instead of traditional honorifics could lead to legal trouble, but they did it anyway. They claim they wanted to show their students they were an ally. Well, here’s a newsflash – being an ally doesn’t mean ignoring the rules and prioritizing your personal agenda over education. It’s about supporting students, yes, but within the confines of what is appropriate and lawful.
The school principal, KJ Anderson, rightfully asked Vary to change their courtesy title to align with their biological sex. But Vary refused, leading to their suspension and eventual termination. And you know what? Good riddance! We don’t need teachers who think they’re above the rules and the law. They should be focusing on teaching, not pushing their own political and gender ideologies onto innocent students.
Governor DeSantis hit the nail on the head when he criticized the trend of having young children declare their pronouns. We’re not running a “pronoun Olympics” in Florida, thank goodness! We need to instill within our children the importance of traditional values, respect, and hard work. Let’s put an end to this gender-neutral madness and focus on what truly matters in education. Enough is enough!
