Georgia Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff is making an appearance in his home state, and guess who couldn’t resist stealing the spotlight? First Lady Jill Biden, of course! But it seems like her visit might do more harm than good for her husband’s reputation.
While the first lady is busy promoting “Bidenomics” and highlighting all the legislation that Joe has signed, it turns out that most Americans aren’t too thrilled with his economic record. According to a recent survey conducted by the NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, only 34% of Americans approve of how President Biden has handled the economy. Ouch!
Bidenomics is working.
Factories are being built, jobs are being created, and it’s happening all across America in communities that have been left out and hollowed out.

And let’s not forget the little incident where Biden skipped dinner at a NATO conference. The White House tried to cover it up by saying he had a “heavy work schedule,” but come on, we all know what really happened. He was probably taking a nap on a beach in Delaware, because that’s how an 80-year-old president handles his workload. Can we trust someone who can’t even stay awake during important meetings?
But back to the first lady’s visit to Georgia. Sure, she’ll try to boost confidence in her husband, but her presence without him only raises more doubts about his ability to lead. If Joe Biden can’t even show up to his own campaign events, how can we expect him to effectively govern the country?
It’s clear that the Biden administration is trying to distract us with Jill Biden’s appearances and fancy speeches, but the American people aren’t falling for it. We see through the facade of “Bidenomics” and we’re not impressed. Maybe it’s time for the president to step up, take responsibility for his failures, and start actually making a positive impact on the economy. Until then, his wife’s campaign trail won’t do much to change public opinion.
