The world is watching as President Trump aims to bring America back to her former glory, yet here comes Comey, with a cringeworthy video, placing pop singer Taylor Swift on a pedestal as some kind of beacon of inspiration. Let’s just say it’s not a good look for someone who once wielded substantial power in our country’s government.
It’s almost comical that a man of his former status is prancing about on social media like a teenager. In this bizarre video, he tries to cloak his disdain for Trump in the guise of a Tay-Tay fanboy rant. America is in the throes of significant issues, and Comey’s worried about Taylor Swift’s lyrics. He’s taken her teenage anthems to heart, all the while he can’t stop harping on Trump—a man who is renting space in Comey’s head.

This from a man who finds “coarseness” in the Republican Party. Pot, meet kettle.
The irony is rich. Comey, who is forever trying to paint Trump as a “bully,” can’t seem to lift his gaze from the former president. His attempt to emulate the snarky tweets of a certain California governor falls flat, leaving him sounding more like a jilted groupie than a respected public figure. This isn’t strength, folks. It’s the desperate ramblings of a man clutching at his fading relevance.
At a time when Americans are looking for real leaders, Comey’s antics are a glaring reminder of the left’s inability to focus on what truly matters. While he’s busy drafting love letters to Taylor Swift, President Trump is out there making strides towards the “Golden Age” of America. Maybe Comey should stop fixating on pop idols and start paying attention to what makes America truly great.
