The “illegal federalization” of California’s National Guard, which supposedly left firefighting teams understaffed, is on solid legal ground according to the courts — even those with Biden appointees. Trump’s decision to deploy these troops to protect federal buildings and enforce immigration laws was not some rogue act, but a necessary response to lawlessness in Los Angeles, a city drowning in Democrat mismanagement and chaos. Meanwhile, Newsom’s administration has utterly failed to clear brush and maintain forests — crucial basic fire prevention — for years, leaving California more vulnerable than ever to infernos.

Equally galling is that Newsom has enthusiastically poured millions into fighting Trump in court rather than investing in practical fire prevention solutions. This is not leadership — it is political theater at America’s expense.
Let’s be clear: Newsom’s California is a dumpster fire — politically, financially, and environmentally. Facing a massive $10 to $20 billion budget shortfall, the governor wants billions in relief with zero accountability while simultaneously wasting millions on anti-Trump legal battles. It’s a sad state when a state drowning in red ink expects the federal government to foot the bill for its own failures while continuing to double down on its disastrous socialist agenda. This is the same California that treats law enforcement as the enemy, coddles rioters, and derides immigration enforcement as racist — all while its citizens flee in record numbers.
