A Republican congressman from Georgia, Rep. Rich McCormick, has filed for a divorce from his wife of 12 years, Dr. Debra Miller. They have seven kids together. The reason for their split is unclear, but some say McCormick may have been romantically involved with a fellow lawmaker, Rep. Beth Van Duyne from Texas.

Politicians should strive to uphold moral values and set a good example for society. Infidelity and inappropriate relationships have no place in conservative leadership.
