This achievement is no small feat considering the internal squabbles and fractures that naysayers love to highlight. But let’s be clear—this isn’t just a win for conservatives. It’s a win for America.
Speaker Mike Johnson, playfully dubbed “Magic Mike,” deserves a standing ovation. Herding GOP cats—like the Freedom Caucus and SALT Caucus—is akin to taming lions in the political circus. Yet, he managed to rally the troops and put America first. While political factions bicker and Democrats cry foul, real leadership got the job done. Liberals will decry the bill for not being inclusive enough. But what they really mean is it doesn’t fit their big-government, high-tax agenda. Sure, there was a bit of a tug-of-war over SALT deductions, but compromise doesn’t mean selling out—it means actual governance. The left should take notes; solving problems requires moving past political grandstanding. Instead, they prioritize spinning doomsday scenarios about impending budget crises or whining about deductions that help hardworking Americans.
