The Biden-era soft-on-enforcement culture that celebrates open borders handed a victory to scammers and created the very conditions where targeted ICE actions become necessary to protect honest citizens and restore rule of law.
Meanwhile, the criminal consequences are arriving: federal indictments, guilty pleas, and heavy sentences for ringleaders make clear that investigators eventually dismantled a sprawling fraud network that treated public relief like a cash machine. Courts and investigators have documented lavish purchases, shell companies and international real estate bought with money meant for hungry kids — a betrayal that Democrats who ran the systems must answer for.
This scandal is a mirror showing the failures of one-party governance: overreliance on government programs, politicized oversight, and a reflex to blame “systemic problems” instead of rooting out corruption and enforcing laws. Conservatives should demand immediate transparency, firings, indictments where warranted, and structural reforms that end perverse incentives and restore accountability to the agencies handling taxpayer dollars.
The lesson for every hardworking American is simple: protect the taxpayer, secure the borders, and stop elevating political loyalty over basic competence and honesty. Voters must remember who defended these broken systems and who stood with the people; come election time, Minnesotans and patriots nationwide should hold the responsible parties to account and insist on leaders who put country and citizens first.
