Severe storms have turned the beautiful Hawaiian island of Oahu into a scene that looks more like a disaster movie than a tropical paradise. Recently, a massive downpour unleashed historic flooding on the island, marking the worst deluge seen in two decades. Over 230 residents were rescued from the flooding chaos, showcasing the heroic efforts of first responders. Despite the alarming conditions, there have been no reports of fatalities or missing persons—a small blessing in a challenging situation.
The torrential rains caused havoc across the island, leading to swift evacuation orders for thousands living in areas north of Honolulu. Roads disappeared under the rushing waters, homes were damaged, and cars were reportedly swallowed up like toys in a bathtub.
