In an eye-opening display of delusion, House Democrats are rallying behind one of their own, Rep. LaMonica McIver from New Jersey, who has been slapped with federal charges. That’s right—charges stemming from a brazen attempt to invade an ICE detention facility. The irony? The Democrats are crying foul, labeling the charges “extreme” and “morally bankrupt.” But when you roll the tape, it paints a glaringly different picture. McIver clearly crossed the line by physically confronting an ICE agent, handing the Department of Homeland Security more than enough evidence to justify the charges.
Democratic leadership has been quick to trot out claims that this is all about political intimidation by the Trump administration. They feebly insist that McIver and her cohorts were just fulfilling their constitutional duty. Here’s the rub: overseeing the executive branch doesn’t give you the right to bulldoze through gates and lay hands on law enforcement. Yet, these lawmakers seem to think they can walk through federal facilities like they own the joint, all while playing the victim. It’s not oversight they’re after—it’s chaos, plain and simple.
The Democrats’ arrogance knows no bounds. They even go so far as to call the U.S. Attorney in New Jersey “so-called.” What’s “so-called” here is the notion that trying to storm a detention center is upholding American democracy. Ridiculous! It’s an insult to every law-abiding citizen. These radical leftists are pulling every trick in the book to distract from their own lawless behavior.

Even more outrageous, Democratic leaders are throwing tantrums as they issue veiled threats against law enforcement, echoing red-line rhetoric. Remember, just last week, Democratic lawmakers were outright challenging the authorities to try arresting them. This is beyond the pale, and it’s no wonder the American people are fed up with the drama and deception. These so-called leaders spew partisan venom, hoping to save face while dragging down Trump’s name. Talk about desperation!
So here’s the question: When will the Democrats realize that their reckless actions have consequences? They can puff out their chests and make threats all they want, but the law doesn’t operate on political wishful thinking. One wonders if they’re ever going to wake up and smell the coffee—or are they too far gone down the rabbit hole of their own fantasies?
