Under the Biden administration, we watched as our country morphed into a cold, ideological machine. The United States stopped being a unique nation with traditions, customs, and a vibrant culture. Instead, it became a sterile lab for intellectual elites obsessed with abstract theories and “rational” blueprints for society. This is not freedom. It’s an ideological prison.
This rationalist ideology is the Trojan horse for authoritarianism. When leaders start believing that society should be engineered strictly according to a perfect theory—whether borrowed from Marxists, libertarians, or leftist academics—the result is a tyranny justified by “science” and “reason.” That’s exactly what happened when bureaucrats arbitrarily shut down businesses and dictated how Americans dress and speak, all based on shifting “health guidelines” handed down like unchallengeable gospel. Meanwhile, tech giants marched in lockstep, policing thought and speech with ruthless zeal, throttling free expression in the service of a liberal narrative. Our mass media became nothing more than propaganda echo chambers for woke agendas, manufacturing moral panic and enforcing conformity.

The root of the problem is this: Ideological societies rely entirely on their guiding theory’s “rightness” for legitimacy. If the whole social order depends on the flawless logic of a political idea, then any dissent is not just disagreement—it’s a threat to the system’s very survival. This is why these regimes clamp down on free speech and debate. There’s no room for disagreement, because if the ideology is wrong, the entire house of cards collapses. That’s the difference between a purely ideological state and a constitutional society. The latter draws its power not from perfect abstract theories, but from a shared culture and traditions that predate modern intellectual trends. It’s deeper than logic—it’s identity, heritage, and a living history. That kind of authority is strong and enduring because it is rooted in collective memory, in faith, family, and country—something no theory can reduce to a formula.
Liberals love to tout the Enlightenment as the birth of free thought, but they conveniently ignore that its ideological offspring have all too often ended up as totalitarian nightmares. Unlike older, tradition-based societies that tolerated diversity of thought without crushing conformity, these rationalist experiments inevitably demand absolute control over every idea and action. Why? Because every “step” in their grand social “equation” must be flawless. One mistake, one contrary opinion, and the whole experiment unravels. So, leftist technocrats escalate censorship and coercion, not to protect freedom, but to save their flawed utopia.
America’s true strength has never been in cold, lifeless ideologies. It’s in the shared stories, sacrifices, and faith that bind us together. The liberals want to strip all that away, replacing it with rigid intellectual blueprints cooked up in ivory towers by disconnected elites. But when you trade heritage for ideology, you end up with a society where Big Brother doesn’t just watch you—he demands you think like him too. At a time when the left is desperately trying to suppress any opposition, isn’t it clear what’s really at stake? The choice is simple: a free America rooted in tradition or a tightly controlled society enslaved to the next fancy theory. Which side are you on?
