The House Oversight Committee has made a bold move against Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son. They’re starting to get real ticked off with this whole Hunter situation, and they ain’t gonna take it anymore. The committee, led by no-nonsense Republicans like Chair James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan, has declared that Hunter is in big trouble for skipping out on a subpoena. No special treatment for you, Buddy Biden!
The Republicans weren’t holding anything back in their joint statement. They made it clear that Hunter’s refusal to show up and spill the beans in a deposition ain’t gonna fly. They’re slapping him with a contempt of Congress proceedings, and they mean business. They’re not about to let the Biden name get in the way of holding folks accountable.

And talk about support! Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene didn’t hold back either. She’s all about moving forward with the contempt proceedings, and she ain’t afraid to say it. According to her, Hunter’s no-show act is downright unacceptable. She’s convinced that Hunter’s got a whole heap of mess to hide, and she’s not buying any of his shenanigans about being in the clear.
In a series of events that would make a reality TV show proud, Hunter initially said he’d show up for the Oversight Committee but then did a total 180 when he wasn’t given the green light to turn the hearing into a public spectacle. The Republicans were all set to start an impeachment inquiry into President Biden’s family business dealings, and it seems Hunter wasn’t too keen on facing the music without being able to turn on the charm for the cameras.
In the midst of all this drama, the evidence against Hunter continues to pile up. He’s facing charges related to tax fraud from his overseas business ventures, and even President Biden’s brother, James Biden, is getting tangled up in this mess. It’s all about the money, and folks want answers. A whopping 70 percent of Americans are feeling uneasy about President Biden’s conduct, and even his own aides are steering clear of the topic for fear of setting him off.
