Hunter Biden, son of the President, is breathing a sigh of relief. Not only has his scandalous child support battle with former stripper Lunden Roberts come to an end, but he has also received a get-out-of-jail-free card from federal prosecutors. The Justice Department wrapped up a five-year investigation of Hunter with a simple slap on the wrist, much to the chagrin of Republicans who promise to follow the money trail. Despite reams of evidence that suggest illegal foreign lobbying and money laundering, Hunter will only plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and lying on a gun form. Apparently, being a member of America’s top political dynasty comes with its privileges!
Hunter’s baby mama, Lunden Roberts, privately agreed to lower child support payments from $20,000 to an undisclosed amount. The details of the amount are being kept under wraps, but apparently, it is low enough to avoid sparking any more controversies. Hunter would have had to attend a July contempt hearing if Lunden’s request had been denied, which would have brought unwanted media attention to the already scandal-ridden family.
However, the settlement does not suggest an end to Hunter’s legal problems. His murky finances continue to haunt him, and the IRS whistleblowers have come forward with bombshell testimonies that the Department of Justice blocked the U.S. attorney leading the Hunter Biden case from bringing charges. Despite President Biden’s claims that “there is nothing there,” Republicans pledge to keep following the money trail.

Hunter’s personal life is just as scandalous. He met Roberts while she was working as a stripper in Washington D.C., while he was in a sexual relationship with his late brother’s widow, Hallie Biden. His lifestyle choices are questionable, given that he has been open about his drug and sex binges. Nonetheless, the closure of his child support case spares his father some embarrassment while he pursues re-election in 2024. After all, it’s a good time to be a Biden!
