Hot off the presses! Hunter Biden, son of President Biden, has been charged with two counts of tax evasion and one count of illegally possessing a gun, after years of investigation. It seems that the younger Biden will plead guilty to these charges, but not to other more serious charges involving fraud or salacious things revealed on his infamous laptop.

According to his lawyer, Hunter Biden has agreed to enter a pre-trial diversion program for the gun charge, meaning the charge will be dropped as long as he doesn’t break the law again. And as for the tax charges? It appears he’ll only be facing fines, since failure to file taxes is usually just a misdemeanor.

Let’s face it, folks. It looks like Hunter Biden got off easy. The absurd length of the investigation culminating in such light charges and fines for his serious offenses is not going to build any new trust in our already controversial DOJ. It’s clear that the Democrats are protecting their own, and this is just the latest example.
As always, the mainstream media will brush this under the rug, but here at RedState, we’ll keep you updated on all the corruption and scandals involving the left. We can only hope that justice will eventually be served for all those involved in these crimes. Stay tuned for more updates!
