In yet another twist to the never-ending saga of the Biden family, a federal judge has denied Hunter Biden’s request to slither out of appearing in person for his arraignment on federal gun charges. It seems the privileged first son, who has been known to enjoy a few questionable activities in his spare time, will not be able to dodge the consequences of his actions this time around.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Christopher Burke, from the District of Delaware, made it crystal clear that Hunter Biden must face the music in person. The judge cited the new charges that have been brought against Biden, which were not addressed during his previous hearing, as a key factor in this decision. It appears that Daddy’s influence won’t be able to save him from the full force of the law this time.
Now, it’s no surprise that the Biden family is accustomed to making false statements, but Hunter Biden has taken it to a whole new level by allegedly lying about purchasing a firearm. Not only that, but he also stands accused of being an unlawful user of a controlled substance. One can’t help but wonder what other skeletons lurk in his closet.
And let’s not forget about the ongoing investigation by the House Oversight Committee into Hunter Biden’s shady international business dealings. The man seems to have a knack for attracting allegations of bribery and corruption wherever he goes. It’s almost impressive, in a twisted sort of way.
With the gun charges carrying a potential maximum sentence of 25 years in prison, Hunter Biden’s future is looking bleak. But hey, at least he’ll have plenty of time to reflect on his actions and ponder the consequences of his choices. Perhaps this will serve as a teachable moment for the Biden family about the importance of accountability and integrity.
In the end, justice must be served, regardless of one’s last name. It’s refreshing to see a federal judge uphold the principle that no one, not even the son of a sitting president, is above the law. Kudos to Judge Burke for making the right call and ordering Hunter Biden to show up for his day in court.
