The recent actions of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement have resulted in the arresting of 171 illegal immigrants, and folks, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. ICE Deputy Director Patrick J. Lechleitner revealed that 103 of these individuals were facing charges or convictions of a sexual nature against children, while 10 others had homicide charges or convictions. You heard that right – these are dangerous criminals who have no business being in our country!
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of ICE officers, these communities are now safer. Lechleitner shared this fantastic news during a press conference, highlighting the tireless efforts of the officers in tracking down these targets and making safe, efficient, and effective arrests. Kudos to them for keeping our streets safe!

But the battle isn’t over yet, folks. These apprehended migrants will have to face an immigration court to determine their deportation back to their home countries. The timeline for each person will vary, but the important thing is that they will be held accountable for breaking our laws.
ICE is facing a funding crisis, with Lechleitner stating that they are apprehending 5,000 more individuals than their budget allows. It’s time for the Biden administration and Congress to step up and pass a bill for more funding. We can’t have ICE operating under a continuing resolution – they need the resources to continue protecting our borders and removing dangerous criminals from our communities.
Let’s put things into perspective here, folks. Last year alone, Enforcement and Removal Operations arrested a whopping 73,822 migrants with a combined total of 290,178 charges and convictions. This just goes to show the magnitude of the problem we’re facing, and why it’s crucial to support ICE in their crucial mission.
The battle against illegal immigration and criminal activity is far from over, but with the dedication of ICE officers and the support of our government, we can make our communities safer for all law-abiding citizens. Keep up the good fight, ICE!
