President Donald Trump’s latest response to the unrest in Los Angeles has reignited the national conversation about law enforcement, immigration, and the rule of law. This is yet another example of the media’s ongoing campaign to mislead the public about the dangers posed by open borders and lax immigration enforcement.

By deploying thousands of National Guard troops and even Marines to Los Angeles, the administration has sent a strong message that violence and disrespect toward law enforcement will not be tolerated. Critics on the left and in the media have predictably decried these actions as “authoritarian” or “inflammatory,” but ordinary Americans know that peace and safety cannot be restored by appeasing violent mobs. The President’s actions demonstrate a commitment to protecting law-abiding citizens and supporting those who risk their lives to maintain order.
It’s no secret that the radical left has spent years demonizing police, excusing criminal behavior, and encouraging chaos under the guise of “protest.” The events in Los Angeles are the direct result of these failed policies. When criminals and illegal immigrants feel emboldened to spit on officers and attack the very people sworn to protect us, it’s time for a course correction.
