Another day, another violent illegal immigrant attacking American law enforcement officers. Denis Corea Miranda, a 21-year-old from Nicaragua, assaulted a federal agent in Polk County, Florida on Tuesday morning. The brazen criminal then posed for his arrest photo with a sick, beaming smile on his face.
This disgraceful attack left a Homeland Security Investigations officer with a serious shoulder injury. The agent was just doing his job trying to arrest this illegal alien. Miranda fought back for five long minutes because he said he wasn’t going to be deported.
Here’s the real kicker that will make your blood boil. Miranda was already caught by Border Patrol agents back in 2021 when he illegally crossed into California. What did our broken system do? They gave him a court date and released him right back onto American streets.
By 2024, this criminal was arrested for drunk driving in Texas. Did he show up to court like a law-abiding person would? Of course not. He skipped out and got a warrant, but it was a no-extradition warrant that basically meant nothing.
After attacking our federal agent, Miranda ran into the woods like a coward. Then he broke into a local business before deputies finally caught him. Sheriff Grady Judd said this was the first time an agent got hurt on duty in his county.
Now get ready for this slap in the face to every taxpaying American. Florida taxpayers will foot the bill for this illegal’s defense attorney. We also get to pay for his prosecution and probably his jail time too.
This is exactly what happens when we have weak border policies and catch-and-release programs. Dangerous criminals waltz into our country and hurt the brave men and women trying to protect us. Meanwhile, hardworking Americans pick up the tab.
Sheriff Judd was rightfully angry about this attack on law enforcement. This smiling criminal represents everything wrong with our immigration system. When will politicians finally put American safety first and stop this madness?
