The arrogance of Iran is on full display once again. Instead of stepping up to the table, their leaders turned their backs on American negotiators in Pakistan. There’s no confusion here—this is pure defiance. Tehran thinks it can play games and dodge consequences. But Americans should know by now: appeasement never works.
President Trump sees through the smoke and mirrors. Forget weak-willed diplomacy and endless hand-wringing from the globalist crowd. Trump made it clear this week that he’s ready to ramp up the pressure. Iran’s regime is about to feel the heat, and for the next few weeks, the gloves are off. That’s exactly what we need. Strength is the only language these bullies understand.

Yet, predictably, liberal elites cry foul. They’d rather cozy up to dictators than defend American interests. They whine about “dialogue” and obsess over “international norms” while rogue regimes like Iran laugh in their faces. This is the world the left wants—where America gets pushed around, and enemies call the shots. The days of rolling over are finished.
Let’s not pretend for a second that diplomatic talks in Islamabad would have made Iran behave. These clerics have fooled gullible politicians for generations with empty promises. Now, they’re refusing to talk altogether! When will Democrats wake up and realize that Iran’s leaders don’t want peace—they want power, and they’re not above using terror to get it.
It’s time to throw out the tired playbook of failed liberal negotiations. America’s strength comes from standing tall, not bowing to the whims of our enemies. If Iran wants a fight, they’ve picked the wrong president to tangle with. And isn’t it interesting how the same leftists who bash Trump for being tough were silent when Obama shipped pallets of cash to Tehran?
Americans deserve a foreign policy that protects our interests, not one that apologizes for our greatness. Why should we chase after Iran when they keep slamming the door in our face? Maybe it’s time the rest of the world learned: America doesn’t beg. America leads.
