In an era when American pride seemed to be shrinking, President Donald Trump comes roaring back, reminding us all what it means to be truly American. The latest polls have a clear message: Trump’s presidency is reigniting the flames of patriotism across this great land. It’s no surprise, considering how he has prioritized putting Americans first—a stark contrast to the ineptitude under the previous administration.
The naysayers on the left have tried to paint these sparks of patriotism as authoritarian nationalism, but they couldn’t be more wrong. Under Trump’s leadership, Americans are rediscovering the pride that comes from taking charge of our destiny. This shift is a direct counter to the left’s divisive agenda and its incessant whining that America should bow to global pressures. Trump stands resiliently against this, reminding us of the freedom and independence our founders fought so hard for.

Democrats whine about military parades and call them dictator-like displays. What they fail to recognize is that these celebrations honor the brave men and women who serve to preserve our freedoms. While they nitpick, Trump is busy ensuring that the American spirit is alive and well as we celebrate important milestones, such as the Army’s 250th birthday. Supporting our troops is not authoritarian; it is quintessentially American.
There are those among Democrats who claim to feel less patriotic, a clear indication of how out of touch they’ve become with what truly matters. It’s as if their feelings are hurt more by the resurrection of American pride than by any real policy concern. Meanwhile, independents and Republicans are recognizing a shift—the Trump effect—which restores their confidence in what America stands for. It’s a slap in the face to those who would rather see us apologize for our greatness.
With Trump’s executive order to plan America’s 250th birthday party, the stage is set for even more celebrations of our national identity. This isn’t just a birthday; it’s a declaration that we are here to stay, stronger and more unified than ever. So to the left who never believed in America first, maybe it’s time for a reality check. If Trump can make patriotism great again, what more can he achieve for us in the coming years?
