This time, it’s about Jack Smith, a former Special Counsel who had his day in Congress to defend his misguided probes into Trump. It should have been a day of reckoning, but instead, we had Democrats like Jamie Raskin desperately trying to shield Smith from criticism. Raskin’s attempts to paint Smith as some kind of law-abiding hero are not only laughable but also deeply misleading.
When Smith went after Trump, he claimed Trump’s right to free speech didn’t matter. He pursued Trump for disputing the 2020 election results, something that is not just legal but a right under the First Amendment. It’s a move straight from the left’s playbook: shut down opposing voices by any means necessary. That Smith was even put in this position of power just screams political motivation. And who does Trump need protection from, exactly? From liberals who can’t stand that he fights back?

Thanks to judicial intervention, Smith’s shaky cases were thankfully put to rest. The Supreme Court shot down his overreach, affirming that presidents have immunity for official acts. Another ruling reminded Smith that existing laws don’t bend to fit anti-Trump narratives. Democrats tried to weaponize the legal system against a political rival, and they failed.
In the end, Jack Smith was a puppet for the Democrats’ ongoing war against Trump. He deserves the scorn he received, and more. Why should Americans sit back and watch these political games? How many more desperate tactics will the left deploy to sideline Trump? Their fear of his return is palpable—as palpable as their desperation.
