Jake Tapper’s recent transformation from staunch Biden defender to a critic with his new book “Original Sin” exposes the blatant hypocrisy that the mainstream media has peddled all along. This man once portrayed Joe Biden as the pinnacle of leadership, waving off any criticism of Biden’s gaffes or aging mind as mere distractions. Now suddenly, he’s spilling secrets about the decline of Joe Biden as if it’s breaking news. Give us a break! It’s a transparent attempt to cash in now that Biden is expendable in Washington’s eyes.
Many in America are tired of these media elites who think they can twist narratives to suit their needs. While Tapper and co-authors try to act as the wise sages shedding light on the “decline” that was apparent long ago, they missed—or chose to ignore—the signs when it mattered most. All the while, they vilified anyone who called out the obvious truth: Biden wasn’t up to the job. They told us it was just his stutter or too much caffeine. But now, Tapper’s change of tune reeks of a self-serving attempt to distance from the very narrative he once tirelessly defended.
This stunt by Tapper is another example of liberal media pretending to hold power accountable when in reality, they’re just playing whatever game fills their pockets. What’s more telling is how suddenly Biden’s shortcomings are bad enough for exposés and juicy stories, but were previously deemed conspiracy theories. It’s this kind of dishonest journalism that keeps society from having real, open discussions about who should lead our nation.

Tapper, a man who once sneered at those who questioned Biden’s capabilities, now wishes to be seen as the harbinger of truth. Wake up! When will Americans see that the globalist agenda prioritizes liberal icons until they’re useful, and then throws them to the wolves? In what world does it make sense for someone so deep in the media game to claim ignorance of what was obvious to everyday people?
This entire debacle essentially questions the morality of the media elite. Are we to trust those who lie to protect their own until it’s no longer popular? Tapper’s book is nothing more than a self-congratulatory pat on the back for stating the obvious, years too late. Where was this journalistic fervor when it could have counted—when Americans were deciding who the leader of the free world would be? Maybe Tapper should ponder that question when cashing in on the very narrative he once ignored.
