Alina Habba charged Congresswoman LaMonica McIver with breaking the law. McIver messed with Homeland Security agents at an immigration center in Newark. Now Jeffries wants Habba fired for charging his Democrat friend.
Jeffries called Habba a “political hack” and said she must go. He posted this on social media for everyone to see. Then he went further by pressuring judges to kick her out.
This is pure corruption when a powerful politician pressures judges. A watchdog group filed an ethics complaint against Jeffries. They say he crossed the line by meddling in a criminal case.
Habba is the brave prosecutor who put justice first. She charged that lawmaker for interfering with federal officers. Now Jeffries is trying to bully her out of her job.
Habba was legally appointed as U.S. Attorney in New Jersey. But Democrat senators refused to confirm her. Now Democrat judges might replace her just because she did her duty.
Good Americans see this as an attack on law and order. Jeffries should not be pressuring judges or protecting lawbreakers in his party. This stinks of Washington corruption.
