First lady Jill Biden took to the stage at a Human Rights Campaign dinner in Los Angeles to push her liberal agenda and make dramatic comparisons between “book bans” and Nazi Germany. She warned of the supposed dangers of censorship, drawing a misguided parallel between concerned parents voicing their opinions at school board meetings and the book burning and censorship that took place during the Nazi regime.
In her speech, Biden sounded alarm bells about the erosion of democracy, claiming that “a book ban, a court decision, a ‘don’t say gay’ law” could lead to the demise of American democracy. She even went as far as to compare the LGBTQ+ community’s plight to the persecution experienced in Nazi-era Berlin, a ridiculous and offensive comparison. It’s like comparing apples to oranges, folks.

Not stopping there, Biden also took credit for her husband’s so-called LGBT victories, bragging about how President Biden supposedly championed marriage equality and ended the ban on gay and bisexual men donating blood. She also praised him for allowing transgender individuals to serve openly in the military and standing against conversion therapy.
But she didn’t stop bashing her political opponents there. Biden took aim at “MAGA extremists,” accusing them of trying to erase progress made by the so-called LGBT community. Clearly, she’s not one to shy away from playing the blame game and fear-mongering.
And if that wasn’t enough, Biden used the tragic death of Nex Benedict, a nonbinary 16-year-old, to push her agenda even further. She insinuated that Benedict’s death was related to a school bathroom altercation, which was a deeply troubling and baseless insinuation to make on such a public platform.
Overall, Jill Biden’s speech was just another dramatic and fear-mongering display of the radical left’s divisive tactics. It’s clear that she will stop at nothing to push her agenda and paint her political opponents as villains, all while making egregious and insensitive comparisons to one of history’s most devastating periods.
