One clip shows a woman lunging into Sortor’s truck and ripping a camera from his hand, a theft that escalated into a chaotic chase and, according to onlookers, even left him dragged briefly by a fleeing vehicle. That kind of violent theft and intimidation against a reporter on public streets is not protest — it’s criminality packaged as a political performance.
Sortor played portions of a tense 911 call where he pleaded for help while protestors allegedly smashed windows, threw frozen water bottles, and shouted death threats; local officers eventually intervened but the scene had already shown the rot of lawlessness taking hold.
