When President Trump took bold action to protect Americans by deploying the National Guard to back up immigration enforcement in Los Angeles, he was met with predictable obstruction from the usual suspects. Now, a Clinton-appointed judge has thrown a wrench into those efforts, calling the deployment “illegal” under a 19th-century law meant to limit military involvement in domestic affairs. What this really exposes is the radical, out-of-touch left hellbent on blocking any effort to secure our borders and restore law and order.
The use of National Guard troops and Marines to help federal immigration authorities in Los Angeles was a direct response to the chaos unleashed by open-borders fanatics. Anti-ICE hooligans vandalized property, attacked law enforcement, and made the city a war zone. Yet instead of backing those protecting our communities, liberal politicians and their minions in the judiciary rush to tie the president’s hands. The Posse Comitatus Act—originally designed to prevent military coups or martial law—is now being weaponized to defend sanctuary cities and shield illegal immigrants.

It’s absurd to claim that assisting immigration agents by setting up protective perimeters or controlling riots counts as an illegal military act. Defenders of this ruling either don’t know or don’t care that this deployment saved thousands of American lives. The Trump administration’s operation in Los Angeles alone resulted in the arrest of 5,000 criminal illegal aliens—gangsters, predators, and murderers who would otherwise be roaming free thanks to leftist policies. Every one of those arrests is a victory for America, yet this judge strangles law enforcement’s hands for political theater.
Meanwhile, Democratic leaders like Gavin Newsom and Brandon Johnson howl about their “rights” while continuing to enable lawlessness and disrespect for the rule of law. It’s no surprise they want to sue to block further National Guard deployments, as their real goal is to keep sanctuary cities safe for illegal immigrants at the expense of American citizens’ safety. This judge’s ruling hands them a weapon to continue that dangerous game—and it can have devastating consequences nationwide as the administration plans similar crackdowns in Chicago and beyond.
This isn’t about the letter of the law; it’s about the Left’s ongoing assault on common-sense immigration enforcement and public safety. A federal judge, handpicked by Bill Clinton no less, has once again crowned himself the final arbiter over presidential authority on a matter critical to our national security. The question is, how much longer will patriotic Americans stand by while activist judges and corrupt politicians tie the hands of leaders trying to defend the country? At what point does America say enough and take back control from those who prioritize globalist agendas over the safety of our own citizens?
