The results speak for themselves with over 1,500 arrests and more than 150 dangerous guns taken off the streets. This is what real leadership looks like when someone actually cares about protecting innocent Americans.
Even Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser had to admit the federal surge is working. Carjackings are down, gun crimes are dropping, and fewer people are getting murdered in D.C.. These are the facts that liberal politicians can’t argue with no matter how hard they try.
But of course the same Democrats who let their cities burn are now crying about Trump being too tough on criminals. They would rather see more Americans get hurt than give Trump credit for anything. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker even called it an invasion when Trump suggested helping Chicago next.
Pirro called out this garbage for what it really is. She said anyone opposing Trump’s crime fight suffers from Trump derangement syndrome and cares more about politics than keeping people safe. Washington D.C. was one of the most violent cities not just in America but in the entire world.
The liberal establishment built this disaster with their soft-on-crime policies for years. Now Pirro wants real consequences for young criminals instead of yoga sessions and ice cream parties. She is fighting to change the pro-criminal laws that protect thugs instead of victims.
Trump is showing other cities how to take back their streets from criminals and gangs. The National Guard deployment that started in Los Angeles is now proving successful in D.C. and could spread to other crime-ridden cities across America.
This is exactly why Americans voted for Trump again. He promised to restore law and order and he is delivering on that promise while Democrats complain and make excuses. Real Americans want their neighborhoods safe and Trump is the only leader with the guts to make it happen.
