Kamala Harris Presidency Could Echo Biden’s, Complete with Gaffes and Failures

If President Joe Biden decides to step aside for the 2024 presidential race, Americans might just get to see what a Kamala Harris presidency would look like. Spoiler alert: it’s more of the same, but with an extra side of laughter. Let’s dive into what this means.

Firstly, Harris has her own set of quirks and flubs, conveniently glossed over by mainstream media while they focus on Biden’s latest mishap. She would be running essentially as a sequel to Biden’s tenure. The Biden-Harris duo has been a comedy of errors, and one can only imagine what Harris solo would look like. At least her mental fitness hasn’t been public fodder — yet.

One aspect everyone can agree on is Harris has been Biden’s most vocal cheerleader, tirelessly defending the president’s mental and physical state. Biden’s shaky, sometimes incoherent public appearances have not helped their case. She has consistently brushed off concerns about his mental acuity, standing by him even when top legal officials had unkind words in their reports. If Biden chooses to revel in retirement, Harris will bear the burden of explaining her unwavering loyalty to a leader many question is fit to serve.

As for her track record, it’s less about successes and more about spectacular failures. Tasked with tackling the “root causes” of illegal migration, she managed to oversee an astronomical surge in border crossings. Over 5.3 million migrants flooded in illegally, while nearly 10 million have made attempts since Biden took office. Apparently, her diplomatic skills didn’t quite cut it.

Then there’s the economy. Harris will no doubt try to distance herself from the economic mess Biden has orchestrated, but there’s no escaping the facts. Biden’s handling of the economy is a dumpster fire, with inflation spiking to historic heights before slightly cooling off, leaving Americans’ wallets still burning. Polls reflect the national discontent, with Biden’s approval on economic matters languishing in the depths.

The administration has trotted Harris around to tout their so-called economic triumphs, sending her on a “nationwide economic opportunity tour” to spin their narrative. While she’s out building castles in the sky, Americans are grappling with the reality of high inflation and economic stagnation.

Meanwhile, polling suggests Harris’s matchup against former President Donald Trump is nearly as laughable as Biden’s. While Biden lags behind Trump by six points, Harris trails by a margin of error. In other words, Democrats might want to start shopping for another candidate who can muster at least a shred of hope in 2024. Until then, Harris remains a punchline waiting for a campaign.
