Today, we have a familiar face back in the spotlight—none other than Hillary Clinton with a dash of Kamala Harris thrown in for extra flair. What are they up to now, you ask? Meanwhile, Kamala Harris—our current Vice President and self-appointed spokeswoman for the aggrieved—is on a mission of her own. Her frustration isn’t just aimed at Donald Trump anymore; it’s spread to Joe Biden, her own boss, apparently. In some freewheeling interviews, she’s venting about how even Biden has let her down—all while hurling a few choice words that would make your grandma blush and your grandpa laugh. Harris talks about “finding votes,” echoing a phrase that strangely sounds familiar, even reminiscent of situations that others have faced legal troubles for. Hypocrisy, thy name is politics.
But here’s where it gets fun. Remember the “competency” conversation that we’ve been having about Joe Biden ever since, well, forever? Kamala’s been on record saying he’s fully competent. And then there’s the part where Kamala blames those “nasty” folks in Pennsylvania for criticizing her. She’s outraged that someone, anyone, would dare to question her motives or capabilities. Perhaps the real irony here is that these two politicos, who insist they’re speaking for every marginalized group in society, seem far more focused on squabbling in their own power lunch.
So here we are again, watching the Democratic drama unfold on our screens—filled with righteous indignation, spicy language, and enough twists to keep us flabbergasted. Meanwhile, issues that actually matter to everyday Americans, like job growth and border security, remain sitting idly by, waiting for someone to notice. Funny how the self-proclaimed heroes of the people can get so lost in their own narratives, isn’t it? Maybe one day, the actual issues will take center stage in the political arena.
