According to the state Office of Planning and Budget, the tax reduction is anticipated to increase wages for diligent Georgians by approximately $1.1 billion, and they certainly merit each and every cent. However, that is not enough to make you want to do a joyful dance or don a cowboy hat—starting in 2025, the state income tax rate will again decrease, providing Georgians with even more grounds for celebration.
