Liberal criminal Luigi Mangione is living it up behind bars. The accused killer who shot UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in cold blood is now making a mockery of our justice system. From his cushy cell in Brooklyn, he’s bragging about how great jail life is for him.
Mangione celebrated turning 27 by writing a list of “27 Things I’m Grateful For” that’s now all over the internet. He thanks his friends and family first, hiding behind privacy when it suits him. This is the same man who had no problem violently ending another American’s life in public.
The spoiled heir to a real estate fortune is getting special treatment that regular Americans could only dream of. He brags about getting letters from over 40 countries and countless books cluttering what he calls his “birdcage” cell. Our tax dollars are paying for this five-star mail service.
His letter even mocks our hardworking prison guards. Mangione thanks them for being “nothing like what The Shawshank Redemption had me believe.” This elite liberal thinks prison is just a joke and not real punishment.
Meanwhile, Brian Thompson’s family continues to suffer without their loved one. Prosecutors call this an “open and shut case” with “overwhelming evidence of guilt.” They say Mangione killed Thompson as part of his “evil plan” to change healthcare through violence.
The radical left has donated over a million dollars to help this killer escape justice. Mangione even brags about having fan clubs like “Latinas for Mangione.” This is what happens when celebrities glorify criminals instead of our police and military.
Mangione’s next court date is June 26, where a judge might set his trial date. He faces both state and federal charges, with federal charges possibly bringing the death penalty. For once, our justice system might deliver real consequences.
Real Americans know the difference between right and wrong. We don’t celebrate killers or make them into heroes. While the liberal media fawns over this manifesto, we stand with the Thompson family and demand justice for a murdered American CEO.
