As Kristi Noem takes center stage, it’s once again abundantly clear why she stands as a formidable force against the ineptitude of the Democrats. This time, it’s the hapless Eric Swalwell—our favorite bumbling liberal—who’s at the receiving end. Swalwell, perpetually convinced of his own brilliance, made a complete fool of himself during a Homeland Security budget hearing. Instead of asking crucial questions about national security or the flood of illegal immigrants wreaking havoc at our borders, he fixated on a photograph. Yes, you heard it right. He was obsessed with a photo of an MS-13 gang member’s tattoos. Really, Eric?
It’s laughable how Swalwell thinks he’s got the smarts, yet he comes across more like an entitled schoolyard bully. While America faces real threats, Swalwell’s busy crafting conspiracy theories around a possibly doctored image. He ridiculed the Secretary of Homeland Security, brandishing his so-called “detector” for lies. But let’s not forget, this is the same guy who got cozy with a Chinese spy. Trust a man who couldn’t detect that? Hard pass.
Kristi Noem’s response was spot-on. She was bewildered that this is what Swalwell chose to focus on when real American families worry about safety. Ms. Noem has a track record of calling out idiocy when she sees it, and this was no different. While Swalwell prattled on about a photo, Noem stayed grounded on real issues—prioritizing the security of our nation, something the Democrats seem to brush aside.

We’ve seen the Democrats repeatedly prioritize showboating over substance. Noem, joined by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, put that ignorance on full display. They exposed not one but two Democrat reps, leaving Swalwell and Dan Goldman floundering. The Democrats often act as though they’re auditioning for a satire show rather than serving the American people.
Swalwell keeps flaunting his antics as if they’re praiseworthy. But the real question remains: how long will Americans tolerate these liberal games? Our nation deserves leaders focused on the genuine challenges we face, not distracted grandstanders. The Democrats may keep digging their own grave with each misguided person they elevate, but one thing is clear—Noem and conservatives will not rest until America is back on track.
