This follows a U.S. airstrike on their vessel, allegedly carrying drugs from Venezuela to the United States. It’s a tale that sounds like it was ripped from the pages of a fiction book, but here we are—once again witnessing the hypocrisy of the left-wing legal agenda aligned with anti-American forces.
Chad Joseph and Rishi Samaroo, said to be “fishing” off the coast, according to their families, were aboard a boat identified by the U.S. military as narcoterrorists engaged in trafficking. Yet, despite evidence suggesting their affiliation with criminal networks, we’re seeing a lawsuit against those who are truly fighting to keep our borders secure and our streets safe. The American Civil Liberties Union, no stranger to defending questionable causes, has decided to represent these families. Their goal? To push their anti-American lawsuit by twisting the judiciary against our nation’s security interests.

Since the initiative began, over three dozen drug-running vessels have been neutralized, saving countless American lives from the scourge of narcotics. Yet, the Left rushes to condemn it without acknowledging the grim reality of the drug crisis fueled by these dangerous operations.
With little appreciation for the sacrifices made to tackle the drug menace, critics on both the Left and, shockingly, some on the Right, allege that these actions were taken without due process. But let’s not forget the harsh truth: these strikes were targeting known operators threatening our communities. Accusations of extrajudicial killings only serve to undermine the importance of decisive action when dealing with the clear and present danger posed by global narcoterrorists.
At the heart of this lawsuit is a fundamental question about where one’s priorities lie. Are we to cower in fear of lawsuits, risking American lives in the process, or will we stand firm in defense of our nation’s right to protect its citizens from the dangers lurking at its borders? When will the Left put American interests above their misguided commitment to defending those who harm our nation?
