Left Blames Trump for Tragic Crash as Reagan Airport Reopens Amid Political Games

Reagan National Airport is back open after a tragic incident involving an American Airlines flight that collided with an Army Blackhawk helicopter, leaving 64 passengers and three soldiers dead. This kind of disaster is heart-wrenching, but the Left couldn’t resist turning tragedy into a political game, rapidly trying to link Fmr. President Donald Trump to the calamity before the bodies had even cooled. Outside of a morbid sense of timing, their response is just another chapter in a long history of political opportunism that characterizes the progressive agenda.

Aaron Rupar, a well-known figure in leftist media circles, still has an embarrassing tweet about budget cuts linked to this disaster floating around. It’s unclear how one would connect cuts affecting airport security with air traffic control, but for the Left, nuance isn’t a strong suit. They even attempted to drag Trump into their blame game by whining about federal worker buyouts and suggesting that these somehow exacerbated an alleged shortage of capable air traffic controllers. As if people in that profession could do their jobs effectively from the comfort of their home offices—because nothing helps handle crowded skies like a Zoom call.

With the crash still fresh, some have started to actualize their delusions by insisting a military helicopter’s safety should be arranged by national personalities like Pete Hegseth. Imagine the utter absurdity of expecting someone from the national media to orchestrate a military operation as intricate as helicopter airspace management! It’s as if their brains have been scrambled. Thankfully, rational voices are finally calling out the ridiculous responses to this tragedy.

It’s essential to understand that airport safety regulations, overseen by the TSA, and FAA protocols for flight safety exist in entirely different domains. Attaching blame to a former president when controlled airspace becomes a nightmare is not only outrageous but verges on morbid—especially when the investigation isn’t even complete. The insistence that a component like an advisory committee can lead to such catastrophic failures is preposterous on its face.

While the liberal media furiously scrambles to twist this event to suit their narrative, Trump has been quick to counter their absurd questions. After being confronted about politicization during a press conference, he appropriately reprimanded a reporter for their clueless query. His remarks about people’s competency in leadership roles resonate deeply, particularly when he refers to DEI hiring practices that have long since prioritized politicized agendas over genuine qualifications. These radical policies put Americans at risk, transfixed by ideology over actual expertise—the very essence of modern government madness.
