It seems the left just can’t resist exploiting any chance they get to undermine the GOP. The latest spectacle involves none other than Van Jones, a CNN figurehead, seizing upon the recent tensions between Donald Trump and Elon Musk. They claim Jones is calling for Trump to target and prosecute employees affiliated with Musk’s DOGE program for supposedly downloading government data. Does anyone buy this absurdity?
This attempt to stir the pot reeks of desperation. Van Jones and his ilk see an opening—a rare rift within the GOP family—and they pounce like hyenas. The notion of Trump going after DOGE employees is as ludicrous as it sounds. These folks are doing the thankless job of cutting down government bloat, which should actually be applauded, not scrutinized. But of course, the left despises accountability because it shines a light on their inefficiencies.
The Democrats are cunning, no doubt. They know Trump’s ego is a vulnerable target, and they’re banking on this feud with Musk to create a cacophony of discord within the conservative base. They would love nothing more than to see Trump waste his energy in trivial pursuits while they quietly advance their liberal agenda. And let’s be honest—wouldn’t they just love to see the GOP self-destruct for a change?

The ultimate goal here? Divert attention away from real issues. Rather than focusing on reducing the heavy hand of government, they want conservatives bickering amongst themselves, leaving the left free to continue their unchecked expansion of power. By attacking DOGE, liberals exhibit their fear of losing control. They’re petrified that people might actually embrace the benefits of a streamlined and efficient government—something the left just can’t seem to fathom.
We must not fall into this trap. Conservatives need to rise above the squabble and focus on the bigger picture. Let’s support those who are working tirelessly to ensure a leaner government. Can we afford to allow the left to dictate our agenda with their transparent ploys? Or should we continue to demand the accountability they fear so much?
