The liberal fraternity strikes again with unbridled zeal, weaponizing the court system to thwart the Trump administration’s efforts to restore law and order. In a not-so-surprising yet unacceptable move, an appeals court ruled against Alina Habba, who bravely stood to serve the people as a U.S. Attorney in New Jersey. The woke left, unable to win at the ballot box or in the realm of ideas, resort to legal gymnastics to maintain their grip on power.
The New Jersey prosecutor was denied her rightful Senate hearing, illustrating a perfect example of how the left rigs the system. The courts cry foul over an ‘expired’ appointment, yet it’s their own political gamesmanship that blocks the confirmation processes they loudly champion. Instead of letting Congress have its say, they prefer to wield the courts as a sledgehammer against anyone daring to act on Trump’s mandate—a mandate that millions of Americans support.

Habba has shown commitment and results. Crime is down in Newark, and Camden experienced a summer without a single homicide for the first time in 50 years. But don’t expect Democrats to applaud these achievements. They are too busy protecting their ideological fortress to care about law and order. They shudder at the mere thought of criminals facing justice—even if it’s what communities desperate for safety demand.
Then there’s the case of Lindsey Halligan, another Trump appointee, facing similar partisan attacks. In one outrageous ruling, a Clinton-appointed judge blocked cases against powerful Democratic figures simply by questioning the legitimacy of Halligan’s appointment. The message is clear: justice only serves their political interests.
Bold moves from brave individuals like Habba and Halligan are precisely what America needs, yet liberal courts are more interested in playing politics. When activist judges use their benches as political thrones, it’s high time we ask: Are they ruling with justice in mind, or just ruling with malice against America’s choice?
