Democratic Representative Seth Moulton’s recent claim that former President Trump might start executing Americans crosses into the dangerous territory of baseless fearmongering. This wild accusation tries to paint Trump as a rogue military dictator ready to turn America into a lawless state, but it’s nothing more than political posturing with no grounding in reality. The focus of Trump’s criticized actions has consistently been on confronting lawless drug traffickers threatening our borders and safety, not innocent American citizens.
The left’s repetitive tactic of spinning apocalyptic narratives about Trump ordering illegal military actions distracts from critical debates about national security and law enforcement. Moulton and his fellow Democrats appear more interested in stoking fear and division than addressing the challenges America faces, including drug smuggling and piracy. The military actions at sea, similar to those other nations conduct to protect their waters from criminal activity, are twisted into false stories about coups and executions—an obvious attempt to vilify Trump unfairly.

This hypocrisy stands out starkly when contrasted with Democrats’ own stance on law enforcement and border security. While they sound alarms about imaginary military overreach, many on the left actively work to defund police and undermine border enforcement, weakening the nation’s defenses against real threats. One has to question whether their rhetoric is genuinely about public safety or simply designed to sabotage every measure that promotes law and order.
At a time when America faces real dangers—from drug cartels to illegal crossings—fear-based smears against leaders committed to protecting the country do nothing but impair public trust and hamper effective policy. Instead of indulging in baseless conspiracies, the left should focus on constructive solutions and stop cavalierly accusing those defending our sovereignty of authoritarianism.
It’s vital for American patriots to reject these reckless falsehoods and demand accountability for those who spread them. Politicians like Moulton must be called out for prioritizing political theatre over national security. The real fight is about keeping America safe, and the American people deserve leadership that puts country before politics.
