In yet another case of liberal lunacy, Venezuela, a socialist disaster, is continuing to accept deported migrants from the United States. This comes even after President Donald Trump, a firm leader with America’s best interests at heart, boldly declared that Venezuela’s airspace should be considered shut. It’s as if Maduro is ignoring the obvious while thumbing his nose at the strong stance of the U.S., a clear testament to Venezuela’s deep-seated anti-American sentiment.
Thanks to weak liberal policies, the chaos in Venezuela has spilled over into the U.S., with masses trying to escape the socialist nightmare. Instead of addressing the root of the problem—Venezuela’s failed socialist policies and its descent into chaos—the left keeps pushing for open borders, welcoming floods of migrants without proper vetting and rules. Meanwhile, hardworking Americans are left to deal with the consequences of this unchecked migration.

Airplanes keep flying back to Venezuela with deported migrants, even when Trump, with his unwavering concern for national security, has expressed that the U.S. should cease using Venezuelan airspace. It’s almost as if liberal elites are more concerned with extending a hand to rogue regimes than protecting their own citizens. Their agenda seems to be globalism over patriotism, favoring politically correct platitudes instead of the hard truths that real Americans can handle.
Why do we keep bending over backward for a country that’s been nothing but a headache? Maduro has plunged Venezuela into poverty and despair with his socialist agenda, and yet America’s current leadership seems content to facilitate flights into a danger zone because they’re too scared to take a stand. Where is the outrage? Where is the responsibility to put America first?
It’s time for Americans to wake up and demand more from their leaders. Why do liberals continue to coddle corrupt regimes and undermine Trump’s bold resolve to safeguard our nation? It’s time we stop playing nice and start putting America—and Americans—first. What will it take for this appeasement to end?
