Buckle up, folks, because here we go again with another episode of liberal media spreading panic over nothing. President Donald Trump recently sat down face-to-face with Russian President Vladimir Putin to bring about peace and end the war in Ukraine. Sounds important, right? Well, the leftist media would rather focus their energy on a laughable non-story than acknowledge anything positive that might come from this summit.
The anti-Trump brigade wasted no time trying to derail this important diplomatic effort. So-called journalists are up in arms over a so-called “security breach.” What was this earth-shattering scandal? A few pages of protocol details from the summit were left on a hotel printer. That’s right, the media went into a meltdown over a misplaced lunch menu and seating chart. American citizens could only roll their eyes while these outlets hyperventilated over a piece of paper with names and courses like filet mignon.

Naturally, the media is eager to frame this as further evidence of Trump’s supposed incompetence. They gleefully quoted a law professor about how leaving documents on a printer is the ultimate sin of diplomacy. Yet, for a bunch so eager to claim panic, they missed the actual point: no national secrets were exposed, no significant harm done. Perhaps it’s just more proof that finding a real scandal in this administration requires some serious imagination.
And let’s talk about NPR and its merry band of doomsayers. The outlet served up its standard anti-Trump fare, all while conveniently ignoring the pragmatic diplomacy at work here. Instead of offering real political analysis, they got caught up in hand-wringing over a protocol chief smiling—a criminal act, surely! By focusing on the trivial, these outlets expose their true agenda. They have no interest in honest reporting; their only goal is to undermine a leader who puts America first.
The American public isn’t fooled by this media hysteria. For a summit aimed at global peace, it’s ironic how these left-leaning outlets are more interested in stirring the pot than supporting diplomatic solutions. With Trump working tirelessly to bring both sides to the negotiating table, one wonders if the media’s constant attempts to discredit him are less about concern for public safety and more about their disdain for his achievements. It’s a performance fit for a comedy, but the American people aren’t laughing.
How about focusing on the substantive issues at hand, media elites, instead of gasping over trifles? What makes more sense: scrutinizing a seating chart or supporting efforts to stop a devastating war? Priorities, folks.
