Despite the speech being fairly uncontroversial, some on the left have attacked him, labeling the speech as promoting outdated gender roles. However, it’s important to remember that Butker has the right to express his opinions, and his speech doesn’t change women’s life choices. The Kansas City Chiefs have shown their support for Butker, demonstrating that he is a valued member of the team.
Some people have even suggested that Butker should be fired and replaced by a female kicker, but this idea is based on a lack of understanding of the sport of football. The suggestion dismisses Butker’s significant contributions to the game, including a crucial field goal during the Super Bowl. The idea of replacing him with a female kicker from a soccer background is unrealistic and fails to recognize the level of talent and experience required for the position.

In reality, the notion of replacing Butker with a female kicker is not only impractical but also disrespectful to Butker’s skill and dedication to the sport.
