When it comes to protecting American innovation, our leaders need to act fast—or the vultures will swoop in and eat us alive. This week, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office director took heat from grandstanding leftist politicians for trying to trademark President Trump’s latest idea: the Board of Peace. Why? To stop internet scammers and bad actors from hijacking the name and cashing in. Apparently, in today’s Washington, even basic common sense is cause for interrogation.
Of course, Democrat Jamie Raskin was there to play attack dog, hounding the director and acting like protecting President Trump’s vision was some kind of national crisis. Liberals love to make noise about “fairness” and “process,” but the moment a conservative leader creates something that inspires the American people, they cry foul. Meanwhile, these same people are silent when globalist corporations and foreign hackers steal our intellectual property every single day. Where is their outrage then?

Let’s be honest—if this were President Biden launching a new idea, the media and the left would be tripping over themselves to build a wall of protection. But since it’s President Trump, bureaucrats suddenly pretend there’s something sinister about defending a brand against crooks and cyber-thieves. This double standard is getting old. Americans are sick of watching their elected officials work harder to trip up real leaders than to protect our country from real threats.
The left can’t stand that Trump’s vision continues to move the needle and steal the headlines. Instead of admitting that bold ideas and sharp leadership get results, they try to distract the public with baseless attacks. All while ignoring the fact that all it takes for foreign money to wreck one of our own is a little sloppiness in Washington.
Why does protecting President Trump’s work cause so much angst for the liberal elite? Because they can’t stand to see America succeed when someone else is at the helm. Maybe it’s time they stopped playing politics and started protecting our future—for once.
