Los Angeles, once the City of Dreams, now finds itself in the grips of a bad dream brought on by radical liberal policies and chaos. The lunacy has reached new heights as certain private-sector unions demand free rent for illegal aliens. Yes, you heard that right. These unions want to prioritize illegal residents over hardworking Americans, under the absurd guise of combating the so-called militarization of the city.
While President Trump’s decisive actions keep America’s international threats in check, back home in L.A., it’s another story altogether. The frenzied Left paints a picture of terror and victimhood, blaming federal authorities for attempting to uphold the rule of law by peacefully removing illegal aliens. Real terror and danger, however, emerge from violent anti-ICE rioters who torch businesses and leave neighborhoods in ruin. They claim to fight for justice yet spread chaos and fear, disrupting communities and families alike.
Calls for a rent moratorium are not just a slap in the face to property owners but an outright denial of reality. These owners, the backbone of the city’s housing, face financial ruin with no plan or compensation from those demanding free handouts. Yet, radical liberals ignore their plight, pushing an agenda that threatens to tear apart the fabric of economic responsibility.

The irony is laughable. These same agitators cry foul over displaced workers and shuttered vendors while ignoring the damage caused by their riots and lawlessness. The city, now a battleground of progressive delusion, shoulders unnecessary economic burdens and costs brought on by impulsive, destructive protests.
In the end, who really pays the price? Is it the families misled by false promises of free rent or the everyday Americans watching their city fall apart from irresponsibility? The answer is clear. It’s time to shake off the dream world and wake up to the real consequences of liberal escapism and incompetence destroying Los Angeles. Who will hold them accountable?
