The liberal snowflakes are at it again, folks! (The Center Square) – Schools across the nation are grappling with the issue of how they manage their social media accounts, and wouldn’t you know it, the debate has even made its way to the hallowed halls of the U.S. Supreme Court. Can you believe the nerve of these so-called “educators”?
School districts under the spotlight for how they handle their social media accounts https://t.co/Sb0IuSgbZ8 https://t.co/Sb0IuSgbZ8

Let’s start in the Mile High City, where Denver Public Schools has recently taken a hard look at its social media policy. It turns out they don’t allow employees to control comments on social media or limit who can see them. Sounds like a real free-for-all to this conservative writer!
The Denver school district’s policy, which was reviewed by the school board earlier this month, explicitly states that nobody – not the school, not school board members, and definitely not district employees – can limit a person’s ability to view, post, comment, or delete comments from any public social media pages maintained or operated by the district. What happened to good ol’ fashioned control and censorship? Not in the liberal school district’s handbook, it seems.
And in Oregon, things are heating up as a school district is being accused of trampling all over a mother’s First Amendment rights. The Liberty Justice Center, a nonpartisan, nonprofit law firm standing up for freedom of speech, is all fired up about the Gladstone School District’s allegedly unconstitutional behavior. They’re demanding that the district shape up and make its social media and public comment policies compliant with the First Amendment. You go, Liberty Justice Center! Stick it to ’em!
The mother in question, Glenda Scherer, is not taking this lying down. She’s claiming that the Gladstone School District is continuously blocking her ability to post on a publicly accessible Facebook group provided for communication between parents and the school. Talk about a bunch of liberal bullies trying to silence a parent’s voice!
And don’t even get us started on what’s happening out in San Diego County, California. Apparently, two members of the Poway Unified School District Board of Trustees used their personal social media accounts to communicate with the community and parents but blocked anyone who dared criticize them. Can you believe the audacity?
The U.S. Supreme Court recently made a ruling that allows public officials to block critics on their personal social media accounts. That’s right, the highest court in the land said it’s A-OK for these politicians to shut down anyone who dares to challenge them. What’s next, folks? That’s right, these liberal bureaucrats are going to be blocking us from questioning their decisions on their personal phones and emails! It’s an outrage, I tell ya!
And to top it all off, when contacted for comment, both the Gladstone School District and Denver Public Schools conveniently chose not to respond. Typical liberal move – when the going gets tough, they disappear faster than a snowflake in July!
So, there you have it, folks. The liberal agenda strikes again, trying to stifle free speech and control the narrative. It’s like a bad episode of a dystopian TV show, and the conservatives are being cast as the heroes to save the day. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing battle for freedom of speech in our education system!
