When legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor showed up at the White House, liberals lost their minds. It’s almost as if these folks have never heard of one of the greatest defenders to ever grace the field. During a special event hosted by President Trump, Taylor was on hand to help announce the revival of the Presidential Fitness Test for schools. This initiative should be celebrated, but of course, the liberal media managed to twist it into something horrendous.
President Trump’s plan tackles the pressing issue of subpar health and waning fitness levels in America. The man is bringing back a program rooted in the nation’s proud sports heritage. Yet instead of applauding the initiative, the left-wing woke mob decided to target Lawrence Taylor’s past—much of which they’re suddenly experts on. Maybe they’d be singing a different tune if they focused on their own side’s dubious history of scandals.
Let’s jog their selective memory a bit. The same Democrats writing outraged think-pieces have twice elected Bill Clinton, a man with credible allegations against him. Not to mention the countless other liberal figures who stood accused during the MeToo movement. But apparently, their track records are not a cause of concern. It’s easier to throw stones at a conservative officer who actually wants to serve his country.

What was supposed to be a significant event was reduced to salacious headlines by liberal hacks who wouldn’t know a goal line defensive stance from a garden hose. The sheer ignorance of these writers is astounding. Instead of recognizing Taylor’s status as a game-changer on the field and championing a program for the health of our children, they’ve chosen to sensationalize and slander.
If anything, the uproar reveals the hypocrisy and pettiness of the radical left. They can’t stand to see those who don’t fit into their prescribed political molds. Here’s a question for them: When will liberals put kids’ health above clickbait? Guess that’s too much to expect from a crowd neck-deep in anti-American rhetoric.
