For years, the New START treaty has been a rotten deal for America. This so-called “arms control” agreement treated Russia like our equal, when all they’ve got left is a decaying military and a bunch of leftover nukes. The globalist crowd in Washington, with their never-ending hunger for more treaties, sold out America’s interests every step of the way. They gave up our leverage, just so they could feel good about “cooperating” with the Kremlin. America First? Not even close.
Letting the New START treaty expire isn’t just the right move—it’s long overdue. Why should the United States keep pretending Russia deserves the same seat at the table? Russia is not our peer, no matter how much the liberal elite wants to play make-believe. In reality, Russia is an unstable regime with a crumbling economy. It’s laughable to act like we need to tie our own hands just to make Moscow happy.

Liberals and their globalist friends in Europe are crying about this treaty. But their priorities have always been backwards. They love to bow down to international agreements, all while ignoring American workers, families, and national security. For them, virtue signaling on the global stage matters more than actually keeping our country safe. It’s weakness disguised as diplomacy.
Donald Trump understands what the America First movement is really about. He called out the nonsense and walked away from this bad deal. That’s real leadership—putting American safety and power first, not bending over for so-called “arms control” that only ties one hand behind our back. The days of letting outdated agreements dictate our nation’s security should be gone for good.
The swamp’s panic tells you everything. They’re more worried about offending Russia than protecting Americans. At the end of the day, America must lead with strength—not empty promises and failed treaties. Should we really trust our security to a piece of paper with the words “New START” scribbled on it? Not a chance.
