Liberal outrage is in full swing as the media clutches its pearls over President Trump’s latest move. This time, it’s about a luxury jet gifted by Qatar. You’d think Trump had called for global chaos by accepting a fitting token from an ally rich in oil and intent on deepening ties. Yet, rather than recognize a smart move in international diplomacy, the liberal brigade prefers to spin it into a scandal.
Trump, a genius dealmaker, rightly sees no problem in accepting a 747-8 from Qatar. Why? Because only a fool would say no to a billion-dollar plane when the presidential fleet needs an upgrade. By using this temporary marvel while waiting for the new Air Force One crafts, Trump shows the art of the deal extends to every facet of leadership, including transportation. Critics can fume all they want, but this is what winning looks like.

Of course, Texas Senator Ted Cruz raises eyebrows with worries about Qatar’s ties to radical organizations. Fair enough. No one denies the challenges in the Middle East. Yet how quickly we forget the desperate mess the globalists left in these regions, a quagmire of epic proportions spun out from borderline naïve negotiations and funding of dubious factions.
Cruz also points to potential espionage risks. A real concern, no doubt. But let’s not pretend espionage wasn’t already a problem before Trump came along. Have we forgotten how certain former presidents bent over backward for adversaries? In a world fraught with digital warfare and compromised emails, the security boogeyman’s been around far longer than this plane offer.
So, do we really need more whining from the echo chamber? While pundits on the left play moral gymnastics, Trump is out there playing chess, always two steps ahead. Maybe they should ask themselves: Would they rather accept the useful gesture or watch America fall behind, clinging to the crumbs of past leadership failures?
