LOL: ‘The View’ Floats LIZ CHENEY To Run Against Trump

The ladies of The View claimed on Wednesday that Republicans have put their weight behind Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming as a potential presidential candidate in 2024.

According to Goldberg, she isn't sure if Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida is popular enough despite the media coverage. She referred to him as the "guy from Florida" during the interview.

Joy Behar brought up the idea of a Republican star candidate, such as Liz Cheney, to help the party. Hostin agreed, and she noted that a new poll showed that Donald Trump was defeated by both DeSantis and the outspoken critic of the president, who was also a former vice president.

According to Griffin, a recent poll conducted in Utah revealed that the state is not a favorable place for Trump. The survey, conducted by Dan Jones & Associates, had a margin of error of 3.46 percent.

The hosts of The View compared the current state of the relationship between the Republican Party and Trump to the movie "Brokeback Mountain," which is an LGBT film about an insecure cowboy and a ranch hand.

After referring to the famous line from the film, Behar said that the Republican Party is making a mistake by hedging their bets regarding the possibility of Trump winning the next election. She claimed that the party is making a huge mistake.

According to Goldberg, the Republican Party will eventually figure out why voters didn't turn out for them in the midterm elections. She noted that exit polls showed that Republicans did not see the so-called "red wave."
