New York City Mayor Eric Adams showed real leadership yesterday on the 24th anniversary of September 11th. Speaking on Fox and Friends, Adams connected the dots between the hate that brought down our Twin Towers and the hate that just murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk. This is the kind of straight talk we need from our leaders.
The brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk has shaken every patriotic American to the core. Kirk was just 31 years old and worked to bring people together across political lines. Yet some sick assassin gunned him down in cold blood simply because of his conservative beliefs.
Adams delivered a powerful message that every American needs to hear right now. He said we must solve our problems with ballots, not bullets. We need debate, not destruction. This is what real leadership sounds like when our nation faces this kind of evil.
The mayor reminded us that the same twisted hate that killed nearly 3,000 innocent Americans on 9/11 is still among us today. We see it in the streets of our cities where radical mobs march and spread their poison. We see it in the violence against anyone who dares to speak conservative values.
Twenty four years ago, our enemies thought America would collapse after 9/11. But we proved them wrong. On September 12th, 2001, teachers taught and builders built. We showed the world what American strength really means.
But the fight is far from over. The radical left and their violent allies want to silence every conservative voice in America. They cannot win through ideas, so they turn to violence and intimidation. Charlie Kirk’s murder is proof that their hatred knows no bounds.
President Trump was right to honor our fallen heroes at the Pentagon yesterday. Vice President Vance had to rush to Utah because of Kirk’s assassination. Our conservative leaders understand the threats we face while the liberal media ignores the violence from their own side.
Every patriotic American must stand up now before it is too late. We cannot let the radicals win through fear and violence. We must vote, we must speak up, and we must never forget what we are fighting for. America’s survival depends on it.
