Mayor Karen Bass has once again taken the stage, spewing the kind of backwards logic that only the liberal elite can muster. Who does she blame for the chaos and violence tearing through the streets of Los Angeles? Not the vandals or looters, no. It’s President Trump and those brave folks at ICE, who are apparently responsible for all of LA’s woes. It’s easier for Bass to point fingers at those trying to protect our nation than to admit her own failures.
Bass wants us to believe that everything was just fine until the federal government stepped in to do their job. If only wishing made it so. The truth—a simple concept apparently lost on democrats like Bass and Newsom—is that these raids were targeting dangerous criminal enterprises, not disrupting peaceful neighborhoods. But admitting that would mean conceding that immigration laws matter, and maybe, just maybe, they’re actually useful.
Globalist-driven sanctuary policies have allowed this mess to fester for too long. We see the result: a city struggling under the weight of liberal negligence and pandering to illegal aliens. And now, when the tough decisions are needed, they’re blaming the one person taking a stand—our President. It’s rich. The real question is, how far will these democrats go to avoid facing the consequences of their own soft policies?

Bass tries to create drama by claiming LA is some kind of federal experiment. It’s nothing more than the latest attempt to dodge responsibility. It wasn’t President Trump or ICE that plunged LA into chaos. It’s those very leaders who encouraged lawlessness with their heads buried in the sand. American cities should be strongholds of safety and order, not playthings for liberal politics.
The reality is simple. Coddling illegal immigrants and turning major cities into sanctuaries for lawbreakers has always been a disaster waiting to happen. With leaders more intent on hurling blame than solving real problems, what can you expect? Maybe what’s truly unacceptable is having leaders who seem more concerned with preserving their failed ideologies than ensuring the safety of the communities they’re meant to protect. When will they wake up?
