A month has passed since an incident that could have derailed the nation’s momentum. In a shocking display of contempt for democracy, a disillusioned individual attempted to assassinate former President Trump, narrowly missing his mark. Bleeding yet unbroken, Trump famously rose from the floor, raising his fist like a gladiator who just won the Colosseum and declared, “FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT!” It would be hard to find a better definition of resilience, if only more politicians displayed a fraction of that spirit.
Unsurprisingly, the mainstream media swiftly moved to cover up this story. The left-leaning press, terrified of the sight of their favorite target showing indomitable spirit, have decided that this story is an inconvenient truth that needs to be swept under the rug. Forget the iconic image of Trump standing defiant with blood on his face. The powers that be in journalism would rather direct attention away from any evidence demonstrating Trump’s grit and leadership. Instead, they’d prefer to focus on how Kamala Harris can barely handle a simple press question without stumbling into a word salad.

It’s almost comical how these media figures, who have lied repeatedly about everything from Russian collusion to Hunter Biden’s antics, now feel threatened enough to suggest a mock conspiracy theory about the shooting. Maybe their fear stems from the growing number of folks who are waking up to their blunders, just like how poking the hornet’s nest leads to an angry swarm…and nobody likes being stung.
Speaking of stinging, while Harris can’t seem to find her footing in the political arena, the media is left scrambling. Rather than covering a leader standing tall after facing down danger, they have opted to shift focus onto Harris’s latest attempts to co-opt Trump’s ideas, all while pretending it’s her original thought. Ironically, she has recently taken a page from Trump’s playbook concerning taxation, despite having championed measures that did the exact opposite.
The truth is that this whirlwind of deep state panic has backfired in a spectacular fashion, especially as Trump’s popularity continues to surge. His resilience in the face of adversity seems to resonate even among demographics that some experts claim are turning away from him. One can’t help but notice some parallels to historical figures who faced persecution; even Richard Nixon’s son-in-law remarked on the eerie similarities between their experiences.
One has to wonder about the identity and motivation of the shooter. With tales swirling about the individual’s ties to federal agencies, alongside a bizarre advertisement featuring him, questions linger. Several individuals who do not fit the mainstream narrative would be roped into a sensationalist media frenzy over their backgrounds and affiliations—what a difference a political label makes. If the shooter had sported a MAGA hat, the media would have inundated the public with his entire life story by now.
This whole incident underscores the lengths to which the establishment will go to discredit Trump and deny him any momentum. They can spend all day crafting headlines to downplay the dramatic events that transpired, but they can’t hide the truth: this was an attempted political assassination. Instead of any earnest exploration of the circumstances, predictably, their eyes are focused on crafting narratives that paint the former president in a negative light, as if he just spent a hard day at the beach throwing children off lifeguard stations.
The ongoing culture war hinges on data, narrative, and the fight for factual representation. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and patriots know where they stand. No amount of media spin can erase the truth, and now is the time for conscientious citizens to rally, to pay attention, and to ensure the world knows that an attack on Trump is an attack on the will of the people.
